Frequently Asked Questions
These are the  most common questions we are asked...

“How much bunting do I need?”
Please click here to be taken to a whole page devoted to this question alone!

“Can I use the bunting outdoors?”
Our bunting is quite often used outside but very much on a weather permitting basis - a good summer is always hoped for!  Please try to have an alternative ‘dry’ location to hang it just in case of wet weather as our bunting is fairly delicate, and being cotton it’s not very fond of being wet, and it really doesn’t like being left wet or damp, and squashed up in a bag for any length of time!

Should you get horribly caught out and it gets soaked through, please inform us as soon as you can as we may have to notify our couriers to arrange a slightly later collection date.  You must ensure it is dried and folded properly before packing it for collection as the courier fees paid at the time of booking are the weight of the box and up to 24 dry strings - a large quantity of WET bunting will be more and you may have to pay the difference.

“How do I book bunting?”
Simply contact us with the event date and the quantity required (or the venue dimensions), your preferred design(s) or your colour schemes or themes so we can try to match your needs with our availability.

You can telephone us, send us and email or we have a ‘Bunting Hire Enquiry Form’ on our contact page which is quick and easy to fill in, and captures most of the information we need to help with your enquiry.

“How soon do I need to book?”
Please book as early as possible as we get very busy, especially for the months of July and August, but we start taking bookings from the September the year before!

To give everyone a fair chance of getting their first choice, we have a strict first come first served policy, and we can only 'hold' bookings for 48 hours from the date of sending booking forms - we will re-release the bunting for other bookings without notification if we do not hear from you during that period.

“How do I hang the bunting up?”
We provide short lengths of white cotton tape to tie the bunting to poles, nails, beams etc.  If you run out, please use WHITE string or cotton tape and tie the bunting TO the object.

Please do not attach to nails or beams directly, or use staples or any sticky or coloured adhesive tapes, ‘Bluetack’, strings or glues, as this marks and breaks the bunting which will result in loss of deposit.

“Will I get my deposit back?”
The answer to this is in 99% of cases, yes!  We offer a fully refundable deposit system, but on the condition that the
bunting is returned to us un-marked, un-damaged and on the agreed return date.

Please see our T&C's for full details regarding deposits.
